It is strongly recommended to Install and setup WooCommerce before you activate iStore Theme. The reason is, WooCommerce needs some basic information and pages to be created and at the same time, it generates necessary links and other data in your website that ensures the WooCommerce system will work on your store flawlessly.
In your wp-admin, head to Plugins, Add New. Search for “WooCommerce” and it will show up first thing in the results. Click Install and Activate once installed. You will be taken to a new screen of WooCommerce which will ask you to press continue button to proceed with the WooCommerce setup. Click Continue.
You should see something like this screen below.
Click continue. The rest of the steps are necessary for you to review and process according to your site and business needs. Like shipping, payment gateway etc. When WooCommerce asks for theme activation, click Skip as you will be activate iStore theme later.
Once WooCommerce has finished its setup, go back to wp-admin, Appearance, Themes and activate iStore. You can continue to learn more on initial theme setup.
